Proud Boys chief pleads responsible to function in Jan. 6 conspiracy
[ Editor’s Note: As the Capitol rioters sitting in jail see the Trump ship sinking low in the water, some are taking plea deals to get a reduced sentence rather than going down for the count in a lost cause.
Glenn Kirschner has a new video about a Zoom conference that Trump did with a group of Presidential historians, where he made the incredible revelation to them that he knew he had lost the election.
Maybe he thought he had some kind of privilege, but in admitting that, when adding it in conjunction to his call for the ellipse crowd to go down and “fight like hell” to reverse the election being stolen from them, the statement proves his inciting them to overthrow the Biden presidency that he knew was legitimate.
Kirschner did not use the ‘smoking gun’ term, but I will. With idiot Trump telling that to a group of historian witnesses, he just made a conviction for Insurrection more likely.
This sets the stage for taking down all those around him who pushed the same scam. I would hope these historians have already been interviewed by the DoJ. The Jan 6 Committee will probably be using this event in their national presentation, a pre-political mass funeral event for all those involved in The Real Steal… Jim W. Dean ]

A frontrunner of the Proud Boys, charged alongside the group’s nationwide chair Enrique Tarrio, pleaded responsible Friday to a conspiracy to impede Congress throughout the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on the Capitol.
Charles Donohoe, the chief of a North Carolina chapter of the group, reached a plea deal with the federal government that features cooperation with prosecutors, a doubtlessly pivotal victory for the Justice Division in probably the most important instances to emerge from the Jan. 6 rebellion.
He pleaded to 2 expenses, together with the conspiracy to impede Congress’ proceedings in addition to to impeding cops.
…“Donohoe understood that Nordean and Biggs had been trying to find a chance to storm the Capitol,” in line with the assertion of the offense. “Inside minutes of arriving, members of the gang breached the limitations and superior onto Capitol grounds. Donohoe noticed Nordean and Biggs advance onto Capitol grounds and adopted them. Donohoe believed these actions had been supposed to cease the certification of the Electoral School vote.”
A 13-page “assertion of the offense” that Donohoe signed as a part of his settlement is a window into the help he can present.
Based on the assertion, Donohoe helped arrange the Telegram communications channels Proud Boys leaders used to coordinate their actions and helped scramble to create new ones when Tarrio was arrested on Jan. 4, 2021, on unrelated expenses.
